Udi’s To Launch New Gluten-Free Products!

By Laura (The Gluten-Free Traveller)

Udi’s is launching a variety of awesome new gluten-free products over the next few months. A few of them won’t hit grocery store shelves until January but we are already excited!

So what new products can the gluten-free community expect from Udi’s?

Bagels! Udi’s will be introducing two new bagels. The Everything Inside Bagel, is a combination of millet, flax, poppy seeds, onions, garlic and salt but all on the inside. Their Mighty Bagel is filled with whole quinoa flour, sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

Muffins! They are bringing out two new flavors of gluten-free muffins – Harvest Crunch and Double Vanilla.

French Baguettes! If you miss making great sandwiches at home, you’ll be happy to hear that Udi’s are coming out with French style- baguettes. Très bien!

Dinner Rolls! When you’re on a strict gluten-free diet it’s rare that you get to enjoy a dinner roll with your meal. Udi’s are making it simpler with their new gluten-free Classic French and Whole Grain dinner rolls. Now we can nibble on a roll along with our gluten-free spaghetti or pasta!

Udi’s dinner rolls and baguettes should be appearing in grocery stores over the next few weeks and the bagels and muffins you should start spotting in January!

All of Udi’s gluten-free products are certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization.

  1. Everyone should check out Udi’s Chia Millet bread. It is fantastic, according to my husband- who is GF and VERY fussy about his food! He will drive all over just to keep two loaves in the freezer.

  2. The baguette if done right will be greatly appreciated. Their bagels are nice rolls but hardly bagels. The only bagels I’ve had that come even close to the real thing are Glutino’s

  3. The rolls are the bomb! Had spaghetti with them and was able enjoy w the family. Baked extra and placed in fridge and had a sandwich the net day. Thank you Udi’s!

  4. Udi’s Chia Millet Bread: I agree! It is my number 1 favorite, in texture, flavor, and nutrition. Keep it up Udi’s! Celiacs have never had it so good.

  5. The Harvest Crunch muffins have already started to hit the stores – I picked up a pack today. Definitely agree on the chia-millet bread, it’s my favorite.

  6. I have already had the French Baguettes and they are amazing (even according to my non-GF family and friends)! I ordered them through my local health food store, New Frontiers in San Luis Obispo, by the 6-pack for $5.99 each pack plus a 10% discount for buying in bulk. Not bad at all for two good-sized and absolutely delicious GF baguettes! They are something to dream about, I promise!

  7. I made the dinner rolls last week & they didn’t even make it to the table because my 17 year old son stood over the baking pan moaning over every bite. He’s Gluten Intolerant & has been eating GF for 6 years & would rather go without than eat something that isn’t close to a regular item. Here’s his official review:

-Great crunchy crust. You get crumbs but it doesn’t crumble into pieces when you bite into it.
-Inside taste great & is soft with good mouth feel, it’s not grainy at all.

I ate one as well & completley agree with his review. I sliced one in 1/2 & it held it’s shape with no gummy feel. They were eaten warm so I can’t give a review at room temperature.
