Store House Foods offer a variety of Pouch-to-Plate soups and entrees, all of which are gluten-free. They may be something to check out if you have a busy schedule and fancy something speedy and simple for lunch or dinner.
The beginnings of Store House Foods came in 2009 with founder, Yvonne Williams. She aimed to develop a line of products that would address the needs of people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance.
For meat eaters, entrees are available in Southwest BBQ Chicken Rice & Beans and French Quarter Chicken Gumbo. Vegetarian options include Classic Vegetarian Chili and Santa Fe Black Beans & Rice. For something a little lighter, their gluten-free soups come in Chunky Corn Chowder, Creamy Broccoli Cheddar and Creamy Potato Cheddar. Many more flavors are in the works.
The whole range is produced in a gluten-free facility. Gluten-testing is also performed to ensure adherence to it’s gluten-free status. Most of the products test below 5ppm and all test below the FDA’s recommended standard of 20ppm.
All Store House meals can be prepared simply by adding boiling water directly to the pouch. They don’t require refrigeration, cooking or clean-up so it really is a fast, simple meal that’s easy to prepare anywhere.
Store House products are available at retailers across the country, including Safeway, Wal-Mart, Kroger, Sprouts and Albertson’s to name just a few.
Have you tried Store House Foods products? What did you think?
