SilverHills_GlutenFree_OmegaFlax__LargeImagesThe Triumph Dining team recently had the opportunity to try a fantastic new type of gluten-free bread from Silver Hills Bakery located in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Silver Hills recently began offering a selection of gluten-free breads which are both high in fibre (more than 5g per slice) and vegan. Currently they offer two organic, whole grain, certified gluten-free breads. Gluten Free Omega Flax and Gluten Free Chia Chia.

The Gluten Free Omega Flax bread contains water, organic whole sorghum, organic whole ground chia seeds, organic cane sugar, organic brown flax seeds, organic whole psyllium husks, yeast, organic rice flour, organic vinegar, sea salt.

The Gluten Free Chia Chia contains water, organic whole sorghum, organic whole ground chia seeds, organic cane sugar, organic whole psyllium husks, yeast, organic rice flour, organic vinegar, sea salt.

Both breads are best toasted and taste great topped with anything from peanut butter to hummus to ham and cheese.

Each slice of gluten-free bread contains less than 80 calories, a short list of ingredients, high fibre and high protein. Additionally, they are Certified Organic, Certified, Non-GMO and Certified Gluten-Free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization.

Take a look at the Store Locator on the Silver Hills Bakery website to find out where you can buy these gluten-free breads!
