In our search for an interesting take on gluten-free cranberry sauce, we found this super simple recipe from Living Without Magazine. No Thanksgiving dinner is complete without cranberry sauce and this one sounds extra tasty!
½ cup orange juice
1½ teaspoons grated orange zest
1 (12-ounce) package fresh cranberries
1 cup pure maple syrup
¼ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ cup finely chopped crystallized ginger
1. In a medium saucepan, combine orange juice, orange zest, cranberries, maple syrup, brown sugar and ground ginger. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer until cranberries pop, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Mix in crystallized ginger.
2. Cover and refrigerate until cold.
