Thrive’s menu has something for everyone, especially if you have extreme food allergies. They serve whole foods and those without soy, dairy, gluten, corn, eggs and peanuts. This place serves up some great vegetarian chow in the Pacific Northwest.
The restaurant and meeting place offers an all-day menu with salads, raw entrees, warm grain bowls, soups, smoothies and juices. The meeting place aspect is covered by providing classes, guest speakers and a food and film series.
I only had time to try one thing on the menu, the Incan Bowl, and it was incredible. It’s steamed quinoa topped with house made almond milk, dates, banana, apple, pear, strawberries, cinnamon and trail mix. For the record, quinoa is the only plant-based protein that contains all nine of the essential amino acids that your body needs.
Finding healthy yet delicious food on the go can be a challenge. Thrive’s food is served quickly, so you can either eat in or take out. They also offer text in service so your food is waiting for you when you arrive.
Thrive is open daily from 9am to 9pm and was founded in 2008.
