JiMMYBARJim, the guy behind JiMMYBAR, was inspired to create his clean snack bars after seeing the movie Food, INC. The high level of food processing and the 30 percent obesity rate in the U.S. surprised and disgusted him. So Jim started a healthy snack company focusing on clean foods.

Jim enlisted the help of his sister Annette, a Chicago restaurateur, and she worked some culinary magic out of her restaurant kitchen. The feedback from their family and friends helped shape their four offerings, which are free from empty calories, high fructose corn syrup, GMO glucose, or jacked-up protein levels.

JiMMYBARs come in 1.6 oz. and .8 oz sizes. Our tasters tried just the Peanut Butter Clutter flavor, and they thought it was chewy but not gooey and just right on the sweetness scale. It wasn’t so sweet they thought it was a dessert. Here’s what was in it: peanuts, dates, almonds, peanut butter, honey and crisp brown rice.

How ‘Bout Dem Apples are made with dates, almonds, apples, crisp brown rice, walnuts, gluten-free oats, cinnamon, honey and vanilla.

No Bluffin’ Banana Muffin are made with bananas, dates, almonds, walnuts and crisp brown rice.

Super Hip Chocolate Chip are made with non-dairy chocolate chips (cane sugar, chocolate liqueur, cocoa butter, soy lecithin and vanilla), peanuts, dates, almonds, almond butter, walnuts, and crisp brown rice.
