Hey just wanted to let everyone know that there is a GF bakery in Colorado Springs as well! It’s called Outside the Breadbox! I love it- They have plenty of samples and you feel at home as soon as you walk in…..
I am responding to the recent coming out of a menu with the melting pot. I took my daughter there who is celiac and we attempted the gluten free fair and were not impressed. If they bring one pot out and all others put there little goodies in there then it spells disaster. Even though we attempted to make sure all was gluten free… I don’t think they understand the spice situation on the meats. My daughter had a VIOLENT response in the ole GI and was sick for a few days. And we know that is not all.
This type of cooking for gluten free does not seem practical with a group and I encourage all to be careful.
