Just yesterday I was so frustrated and thought to myself I wished Betty Crocker would make glutenfree Mixes! I made my duaghters b-day cake and as you know- glutenfree doughs can be triccky! Once the thing was done it literally crumbeld to pieces in front of my eyes. I had to start all over, barely two hours befor poeple started coming in! I’m so excited, I can’t wait to try those mixes. I have to check at my local safeway!

My family was pretty shocked that any mainstream brand — let alone one as mainstream as Betty Crocker — produced gluten-free mixes available in mainstream supermarkets.

But they were even more shocked at how good the mixes are — a pretty big compliment considering how good my family is at baking gf from scratch.

So I was ecstatic to find out betty crocker came out with gluten free products but…. when I ran out to safeway here in colorado springs to get it, was disappointed to find they have yet to carry it. So I’ll be happy when I can find a place that carries it.

Wow! I am estatic for me and all fellow Celiacs to be able to purchase gluten free cake and brownie mixes from a “regular” grocery and to experience a great treat in baking. Many thanks Betty Crocker!
