Sam - I know it was unfortunate that was said, and the old outdated about instant coffee and blue cheese were also blurted out by EH. Both are considered gluten-free unless you see wheat on the instant coffee label. Dr. Green might have corrected all of that and they just edited it out. How do you think it makes Oz look that he doesn't know what he's talking about on his own show? On the plus side, celiac disease searches were up over 360% the next day - beating Tiger Woods and behind only Michelle Obama! I'm sure the gastro docs appt. books are full for the next six months with many IBS patients demanding to be tested for celiac. And that is a very good thing indeed!

Happy Holidays!

I was very dissapointed that at the end of the Celiac story Dr. Oz said if you think you have a Celiac problem to go on the diet for three weeks and see if it helps. I couldn't believe Dr. Green wouldn't correct him. We all know that if you go on the diet and you feel better that you do not want to go back to eating gluten to be tested.

The researchers determined the autistic children aren't more likely than those without autism to develop celiac disease. Marie Blogosphere
